Maruti Suzuki SX4 offeres great competition among the Sedans in range of 7 to 10 lacs.It has the same power out put as that of Verna .The advantages are the power over 100BHP, torque of 145NM, good interior apace and impressive external appearence.Disadvantage is the fit and finish which is not so catchy.Overall it makes a good selection if preferring the brand Maruti Suzuki.Otherwise it will be a good idea to test drive new Optra Magnum once.
its a gr8 car.complete value for money.the new optra magnum will never have a good resale value as compared to sx4.moreover ford and general motors have poor after sale services and their parts are too expensive.
for instance recently my left rear glass window broke.i went to the maruti service centre ant it got immidiately replaced for a mere Rs 825/-.can u believe it.

SX4 is not bad car. But for ladies no way. It's steering is not as smooth as other competing cars like Honda city or Verna or Ford fiesta or Aveo. Also in city driving you would face tough time as you can hardly see through rear windshield thorugh inside mirrir due to higher trunk. Another problem is on uneven road body rolls too much due to higher ground clearence. Based on this you could take trials of all these cars & make up your mind.
