The advantages of Ritz is its upgraded engine, good fuel economy and power output of 85 BHP and torque of 113NM which is quite high compared to that of Punto 1.2 . Punto has advantage of better build quality and style but lesser power than that of Ritz 1.2.Considering overall parameters Ritz Lxi makes a better selection than Punto 1.2

I am using Maruti Ritz- vxi (petrol)car for last 2 months, basically for office purposes. It is an excellent car. Mileage is yet to improve. Interior and exterior look could be improved. Cost of Maruti car spares being very competitive compared to any other make, I would suggest to go in for Ritz.

Go for Ritz, I have not driven Punto, but the driving experience of Ritz is excellent w.r.t power, also the interior space is good, mileage is also competitive, has fresh looks.
