My budget is 3.5 to 4.5 lacs. Which car i sho - 6137

My budget is 3.5 to 4.5 lacs. Which car i should go for ? my preferences are gud mileage,gug interiors & low maintenance. Speed & pick up doesn't matter much to me. My monthly running is 1000 km approx. Whether i shud go for diesel or petrol vehicle ? Also give your views on I 10 Magna vs RITZ LXI/VXI ?

If your monthly running is 1000 km, I suggest you go for Diesel car. You can get indica series car for your budget.

Considering the requirments and expected usage, It will be worth going for a Indica diesel or a Maruti Zen Estillo which fits in the budget too.i10 Magna is also a good option but its onroad price is more than 4.5 Lac.

Maruti A-star can be thought of for very good kilage of 19.6 kmpl,but it is petrol.
It is less powerful as compared to others but I think it must be okay.The cost is around 3.8 Lakhs and coming from MARUTI you do not have to think of service.It has new K series engine.
If you are keen on Diesel. then Indica with FIAT engine is good for kilage but it is slightly costly.
Or you can go for RITZ Diesel of MAruti. Just check up the price.
