I am planning to buy a Hyundai i20.Its a very smooth car with a supersmooth powersteering.Is this type of powersteering a disadvantage on a mountain drive ? Furthermore,can any body share his experience of driving this vehicle on a mountain road

The performance of Hyundai i10 is quite good on hill stations too.The smooth power steering will only serve as easier operation and no disadvantages with it.You can go ahead with the same.
