Hi,
I am driving Swift , Petrol Version for last more than 3 years . It has good pick-up ,low maintainance cost & good manuvarability.
Overall, a good Driving experience.

I am driving Swift,VDI Diesel Version for the last one year. I am satisfied with the performance of the car specifically on long routes where driving is a pleasure. Wherever you may go on the speedometer, you will enjoy the driving. Though the initial pick up is little sluggish but when the Turbo takes charge at 2000 rpm, then it gives a feeling as you are in a plane and about to take off. The one shortcoming I have noticed is of back view while driving in reverse gear, it is not easy. Anyhow overall a good car with now very acceptable look with good pick up. You are happy when you drive, you are happy even when you visit the Diesel Pump and full the tank, its really economical. In today's time, nobody waits for delivery without any reason. However, you must test drive and compare with so many other makes available in the market and then finalise. One sincere advise is go for it only & only if your monthly usage is more than at least 1500 kms.

Well everything said above is true. Its a remarkable car and cannot be compared with punto and vista, as both these cars cannot beat maruti service and relaibility. Only hyundai can beat maruti in technology and car comfort but they dont have any diesel version in that bracket.If thinking abt petrol go either for new santro or i 10 or i 20 .they have better suspension and are nicely packed than maruti cars , which tend to make noises after 1 yr or so .

Hi Swift would be the best Hatchback in the Indian market,i have 1 for the past 2 years,it has done 55000 Kms am changing the 3rd set of tyres.Its sleek,powerful{I do a lot of hill driving}takes of road well,the best climate control and is backed by the best state of art tech.If you wana buy a hatchback go with the Swift,if a Sedan then buy the HONDA City.For cars there is nothing better then the JAPANESE manufacturers

i had swift LDI and i was satisfied with it but the min problem is that the driving seat is not as comfertable as other hatchbacks
I would prefer that u choose Fabia or I20 they are more superb than this car.....
