I had a Indica V2 DLS of 2005 model and it had run in total 20000 Km and now I want to install Turbo Charger in this model. So I would like to know below queries. 1. Turbo charger can be installed or not. 2. If yes then estimated expense on this. 3. Where to get this installed.

Hi,
It is possible to install turbo to Indica v2 .You can get the same installed from Tata dealer service center.The price of the same has to be checked with dealer.

It will be best if you didnt do this on a NA (Naturally Aspirated) Diesel engine of the Indica. You will need to change the gearbox as well as the ratios are diferrent. Also the TC (Turbocharged) Indica has 14 inch tyres compared to the 13 inchers of the normal Indica.

This is for Tata RECON engines. You could get the who Transmission and Engine assembly. This will be cheaper and easier to maintain.
Also whatever you do, PLEASE get this done by the TSC (Tata Service Center) and not any other mechanic.
