Dear Shiv, I have purchased Scorpio mhawk in march 2009 currently i am planning to convert into auto transmission kindly advice the cost attached to it for doing the same and also where can i get it done

Hi,
Scorpio mhawk has good M/T and handling is also easy.You can fit A/T with investment of around 90k and can be got done at Mahindra dealership.But it wont be a good idea in converting to A/T as M/T will serve the purpose.

Conversion is not recommended as the work done by a dealer is not upto the same standards as the factory fit. Also, A/T requires additional wiring that is not done correctly if not done at the factory. You will need to change the whole wiring harness for it to work well. Then the changes in body to fit in the A/T are done by a hammer at the dealer. Not the best of ways in my opinion.
