LPG is definitely great value for petrol cycle cars. The fuel is cheap, burns cleaner, and gives you lesser knocking than petrol. Yes, you can fit an LPG kit to your car, and there is if anything, reduced maintenance compared to petrol, particularly in the long term. Definitely beneficial to your car, no harm in LPG. It is even better on the environment. No hesitation here please.

u can definitely fit LPG kit in any petrol driven car. Pls ensure:
1. Get the fitment done from an authorised agency, else it is very risky - duplicate ones have a tendency to burst
2. Get your RC changed to reflect the change in fuel, else your RC is invalid.
Other than LPG being an environment friendly fuel, your long run maintenance cost will go up simply because a gas based fuel system does not use any lubrication, so the wear & tear of your engine will be very fast as compared to conventional fuel. LPG run engine life is apx 50K kms while conventional fuel based system can get u 1.5 lac kms, so the decision is entirely yours on what u want
