Hi Prashant,
last week I bought a Getz prime 1.1 GVS. It is a good car and a real pleasure to drive. specially the gear shifts are very smooth. My suggestion its a good car value for money.

If you are going for getz 1.1 then opt the GLE instead of GVS,the only difference is power window + central locking which you can get in Rs.9500+3500 at hyundai showroom.I have done the same and saved 17000/- as the price difference between both the versions is 30000/-.

Hi,
Hyundai 1.1 GVS is a good performance car. However if budget is not a constraint then it will be worthy ingoing for i20 forits updated features, body style and good resale value.

Answer by Shiva Shankar 08 August 2009

they both are good cars in their own segments and cannot be compared along side. but if you consider the resale factor, any maruti car will fetch you a better resale value than Hyundai cars. In fact I would like to suggest you Maruti Ritz, I have read a lot of articles on this car & I feel it is one of the best options available....think about it.

Hi Prashant-with your daily driving, you should go for a diesel. I assume with what you have stated you will clock in about 2000 kms every month. Your options hence would be Swift VDI, Fiat Grande Punto, Indica Vista Quadrajet (since all of them are in the i20 bracket). You can take a test drive and see what suits you best. In case you would still like to stick to petrol (despite it burning a hole in your pocket!!!), then out of the 2 forget the getz if you can afford the i20. The kappa engine is one of the smoothest petrol engines available today and the i20 offers great room and modern interiors.

Hello, Don't buy any TATA car, I have already burnt my fingures with Indica Vista. The Car is just a piece of Shit.

Answer by Puneet Sharma 08 August 2009

actually getz is the best and smoothest car but the prblems milage better to by deisel

Answer by Nizar 08 August 2009

Hyundai Getz prime CRDI is giving 18 kms per litre of Diesel. Smooth and very good perfomance also. But it is tough to buy as it was stopped in sales. i20 is costly car.
