I dun suggest for any ford car..cuz i had a ford fiesta..i spend around 3-4lakhs till now on it...n it still has many repairs..im telling u cuz the new ikon n fiesta have the same engine..trust me..my car is 2yr old n 70k KM done..the best way i can tell u is "FORD SUXXX" best if u thinking of swift the that is the best choice..

I suggest you to go for Ford Ikon TDCI if you want stability,power,safety,quality...........etc..

Hi, It depends on your usage..If you are going to drive too much, then I go for Swift,otherwise IKON is also a good choice, with good power,and stability.I had a ford IKON for 3 years and I did not spend any money apart from the regular service.It was under warranty for 3 years, and I dint use much.
Though I love ford too much and was a proud owner, I would have gone for Swift if the difference is only 70K.

Yes the maintain cost of Ford Ikon is very much as i have already spent around Rs.22000/- for two year.The best car i think for Indian roads is Swift Dzire.I trust All the Maurti Products.

I really don't think you need to worry about maintenance, but the trouble is that the IKON is a bit dated, is a narrow car (cant seat 3ppl at the back). The DZIRE on the other hand, has been a success in India, but it really looks ugly and I think will get into the list of 50ugliest cars of 21st century (Infact most of the current list look better). If you are spending 5.5lacs, make sense to stretch a bit (20%more) and buy a car that you can use with Pride (IKON will get outdated soon,So will LOGAN), Safety (DZIRE not upto mark) & enjoy it without costing the earth (FORD FIESTA,SX4 are more expensive). So on every count, the best choice is the FIAT LINEA.
