I want to purchase a diesel car which gives m - 5663

I want to purchase a diesel car which gives me a milage around 17-20 on a highway hatchback or sedan costing not more than 8.50 lakhs. Can you suggest one for me between Grand Punto, i-20, Swift desire, Logan DLS edge or go for a petrol version including Honda Jajj? I need to drive between Mira Road to Vashi daily covering 100 KM per day. WHich is economical? Petrol or Diesel?

If you are looking at performance, mileage and build quality then the answer is Punto but the rear leg room is a bit cramped.
i-20 is a good package of power, interiors and very roomy inside, but you have to compromise on the mileage a little compared to punto and the Dzire.
Swift Dzire is the best in maintenance, service, boot space if you are a regular highway goer.
Petrol car is not suitable for a person like you who travels around 100km per day.
I suggest you pick the i-20 as it suits your needs considering the mileage.
