Hi,
The happening is stil a mistery to BMW itself and they are working to findout exact fault.Yes it does reduce the confidence of customer if the cars comeup with such incidents. It will not be a bad idea to go for other makes.Ultimately overall customer satisfaction dominates over other preferences.

Yes I agree with sandeep, You sound like a Rickshaw driver. Instead of Buying a BMW, Please spend that money on Learing Proper English.

I feel that people here should restrict themselves to giving only automobile related advice and not get carried away.As regarding these two duffers by the names of Sandeep singh and Daniel I suggest you mind your own businesses first.
Coming to the question, while I agree that such incidents do leave a bad taste but it was a one off case and it would be very harsh on BMW if you write off the company. My sympathies to the deceased but I would say that if you like a BMW by all means buy one you won't regret it.

Strongly Agree With Rohit. We are here to discuss Cars, and post our opinions and suggestions, not to make any personal comments on any one. Anyways, coming to Pravin's Q., I would certainly pass off this accident as an one off case. Just Go For It.
