As per my suggestion you should go for Baleno. I was using Ikon. Car is good however the maintenance is somthing which will by heavy on your pocket.
1 normal service will cost you 3k to 3.5k. any part replacement will cost you higher then Baleno.
Baleno gives you 14 to 18 kmpl on highway with AC on (depends on the driving habits). I can say that because I was in sales with one of the maruti'sd showroom.

baleno will be the better option to go for if you r looking for a car which is low in terms of maintainance cost....

As maruti outlets & MASS outlets are visible in every corner ur access would be better .
Flair is also a very steardy vech & its helpline is also very effective and quick,It only requires the periodic services (which is a little pain to get the vech booked and serviced) it will never leave you stranded on the road.
Technically both the cars are good but if we talk of maintenaince & after sales service Baleno would be a better choice

I suggest go for Baleno rather thatn Ikon primarily because of the maintainance costs of Ikon. Also the spares are cheap for Baleno. Happy shopping

when comparing the after sales service Baleno win the race
