Another drawback is that its seating space is limited.
The FIAT GRANDE PUNTO will score better in all the above parameters among all the 3 cars (except resale value where DZIRE is likely to fare better, but this could change very easily as FIAT are making a strong come back). The DZire is a Swift with a boot and will start looking dated very soon (worse than the indigo indica combination) and may even look ugly once the newness passes away. Where are the Grande Punto is a classical design and will be contemporary forever.

I need to know wether new Ford Ikon diesel will stay in the market ie; sell at least for 3 - 4 more years or will it be discountinued ! & what about the cost of spares in this Car. the dealer informs that Ford has decreased the rates by more than 50 % & earlier days parts were expensive but now the new Duratorq engine in all aluminium and tested for 8 lac Kms. so no problem. Seats are great and give s avery safe & comfortable feel.
any idea on diesl Punto's mileage. rear seat is short & not so comfortable, seems to be quiet thin !

2. efficiency on long term - strong and stable, problem appears to be resale value is very less during last 2 years on wards
3. how cost effective on long term use ie; 8- 10 years -- No major issues till 9 years .. sterring / suspension replaced in 9th year
4. mileage - fuel efficiency on highways around 11 km / L petrol and bangalore current traffic 6 to 8 km / L petrol
5. safety - satisfactory
6. dealer locations in North India ( I am Lucknow currently) - no info with me
It seems to be strong compared to Swift Dzire & also less cost. what is your opinion, pls inform. - vehicle is strong .. original cost is favourable
