Hi,
Excessive black smoke can be sue to carbon deposits in silencer.Get the silencer cleaned or replaced .

Expert`s comment:

Just open the spark plugs and if it is black, your engine is not tuned properly and the carburettor requires adjusting
Little black smoke may come while starting but it should not come continously. It is wasting petrol as black smoke shows that the fuel is not properly combustioned.Go to Maruti dealer or a good mechanic and check this further to silencer also requires attention if any.

well as d above gentle men have mentioned its extremly correct... but would also suggest you to kindly get your exhaust manifold cleaned by a authourised service center.. as they clean it with a spray which contains chemicals that can remove carbon collection in sensitive area's.. n do one thing start your car n keep it ... fill water into the scilencer till it over flows.. rember not to put the vehicle off.... after that press the accelrator pedal slowly n gradually increasing the throttle opening.. with this you'll know the amount of of carbon collected n to sum xtent escape from this problem.. (this can b done only if its a MPFI)
