we r planning to buy our first car. well we don't have much experience about cars. i liked Getz 1.3 GVS but my concern is whether hyundai cars have high maintenance charges..at the same time somebody told us that in our case we r going to purchase this car in hubli and then take it to mumbai will these service people will give equal importance to any kind of problem with the car (they won't ) . and how long this modle will be available in the market and what about it's resale value.

Hyundai spares cost nominal however, their service sharges are a bit high - their service levels are good , but you have to fight it out a bit. Service is applicable all over India and therefore, should not be a problem. However, I bought extended warranty from one dealer and the other refused to acknowledge it - better you take it in writing from the dealer.
As far as resale is concerned, I got about 2.3 L for my Hyundai getz 2003 Dec model sold in 2008 Dec which I believe is a pretty good price.
