Sir! Our Matiz SD(2000) mechanic is advicing - 5315

Sir! Our Matiz SD(2000) mechanic is advicing not to fit LPG kit for car. He says that the engine life will be reduced by 40%. Is it really true? Our car ran 65000 kms. Also tell me "For How many years can I expect spare parts for our car(according to your Idea)?". I withstand to your suggestions. Please dont refer to any other links to visit. Hope you will Give me the direct answer.

Hi,
The mechanic is correct in saying there will be increased maintenance of Matiz with LPG.As getting spares for Matiz is itself quite difficult the increased troubles may mean extra burdon on ownership hence recommended not to go for LPG kit. You can use the Matiz for another two years or so later on it will be even more difficult to get spares as limited number of spares will be available .(Though some mechanics can fit other make cars spare to Matiz, we can not recommend it as it wont give trouble free service)
