Hello Parminder, out of these I would suggest you to buy RITZ, better mileage (incase of petrol engine)and It's interior looks good than Swift. Both have same diesel engine and now it depends on your preference. I will go with RITZ becoz of its interiors...

If you are planning for a petrol,go for the Ritz..If you plan for a diesel,just go for the Swift LDI..Its an amazing car.

In swift and ritz, maruti swift better then is ritz. Reason swift is mo newerre than 2 years to the roads but ritz is newer. No one can tell you the exact performance of ritz but in favour of swift everyone can tell, its smoother then smooth. Even i have own my swift and i am so much satisfied. Even recently i fitted CNG kit in my Swift, and i realy much satisfy with there performance.

Hello Parminder. You have not mentioned the version of the car whether petrol or diesel. However, in case of diesel, buy Swift immediately - LDI or VDI, depends on your budget - prefer VDI. On the other hand, if you want to buy petrol version, please wait for the K-Series new engine in Swift which is expected shortly to overcome the consumption problems of Swift petrol. Hi, I am not sure about Ritz. But I can give idea about swift as i am using for the last 2.5 years. Swift is very sturdy car. Pickup, comfortability & stability are highly appreciated. When you consider the power of the car you should not mind the petrol consumption (if you are not really worried about the milege). But I am not happy with the GROUND CLEARANCE when compared to many other cars.

Hi Parminder - if you want an involving sporty car to drive - then the swift is the choice for you. If you want a practical family car with a tall boy design and practicality is what is priority, then the ritz is the choice for you.
One important point - do check boot space if that matters to you. Believe the boot space in ritz is very very small.
