the best selling model is the LXI. It comes with power steering, so better than the LX which does not have power steering. If you want features such as power windows then buy the VXI.

Any model is good enough. From a day to day point of view the LPG version or Duo may be ideal. However, if you are going for a Wagon R its worthwhile considering the Ritz which is available in Diesel also.

if u are planning to buy wagon-R, i just want to suggest u that change your plan and look for another available cars in the market.Wagon-R is outdated car now, no doubt its a very good car but now fresh n more appealing cars present in the market like Ritz, i10, aveo-uva, fiat punto and Indica vista all comes with almost same price tag. You are going to spend around 4 lac in car so think twice before making any decision.
just take a test drive of all cars and find which car is more comfortable for u and your family.

Wagon R is very good in all respects. Reaer seat discomfort never experienced. Its more spacious than santro. But do go in with Power steering as a minimum, else the steering is very hard. Sapce in dicky is more than rest of cars in its class. The duo model will be more economical but will take in the space of the dicky. For past 9 years never had any major problems.

If you have a small family & in need of good milage and comfort including space, it is the best car. Please buy the top end model that is LXI under DUO varient.
