Cars Q&A

Question
Hi Cartrade, First of all thnx for the great site to solve our all queries reagrding cars...I loved this site very much... I hope you can answer my below query: Am buying a car this week. My run is between 1000-1500km per month. Am getting loan easily 100% of Ex-Showroom Price. But am confused to buy new or old??? Am confused between 4 cars in new: 1. Indica XETA (LPG, Lowest Price, But less resale value.I wanna keep it for 3 yrs minimum (3,33,000 OTR)) 2. SPARK (LPG, Good interiors and maintenance warranty, but wat bout future of GM? (3,57,000 OTR)) Wagon R(LPG, But bad interiors and no power windows and all, But trust of maruti, easily available service centers (3,70,000 OTR)) All above have LPG risk so I have fourth option of Indica Vista Aqua TDi (Good interiors, all features, but the costliest in my list, has diesel so mileage is good (4,04,000 OTR))... Plz help me decide... Or shud I go for old as I am a novice driver...

Hi,
Thank you verymuch for the compliments. With the options mentioned above If willing to go for New car then it will be worth going for Indica Vista. However if going for used car, you will have more options including Indica diesel, Santro, etc.A used Indica will solve the purpose better than others. If going for petrol car, you can get a good conditioned Maruti Esteem with which you can fit LPG kit later. In short the good selection will be between Indica diesel and Maruti esteeem.
