Since your are looking at buying a new SUV with a budget around 20 lacs, presuming you would not really bother about fuel prices, The Honda CR-V is a superb bet. Superb drive, comfort, Honda reliability, performance and perception. And obviously better resale , whenever desired. This may however go slightly above the budget, still the better option.

If fuel price is a consideration, you may consider the Endeavour, though the comfort & performance would be much lesser than that in a CR-V.

Avoid Chevrolet Captiva: The resales would probably fall post GM aanouncing bankruptcy internationally.
