Question
Hi I own a TVS fiero. Bore is done recently. But still gear is very tight and I am not getting Mileage in addition to it dark smoke is coming from silencer. Can we adjust another company carpeter to get mileage. If so please suggest

Answers:

If smoke is coming means then the bore might have been ceased some time before and it can happen bcos of incorrect oil level or shortage of oil level in engine.
Second reason incorrect tap valve adjustment also leads to smoke in engine.
Third thing, the in correct adjustment of clutch or wornout clutch plates will make gears tight.

Hi,
After reboring there are chances of getting dark smoke due to oil particles left out in cumbustion chamber.Mileage will improve after usage for a while.

See there is no relation between hard gear shifting and black smoke comming out at the tail pipe (exhaust)
1. hard gear shifting due to improper clutch adjustment, or worn out of clutch.
2.for black smoke i do agree with the Prashanth's secoend reason or the piston ring gap is incorrect.

Satish Firstly you should not re bore 4 s engions. Please change the Cylinder kit. Hard gear is surely of clutch and transm. oil. pl note fiero is a gold vehicle which will not get again. Pl use genuine parts pl contacct 9842322533.

black smoke comes ..1 when oilseal not works in head ...2 not a correct tunning carburater. no other reason for dark smoke.gear and rebore is total diffrent thing . no each other connected..u tell ur problem to ur mech, and retune carbb,as soon as carb get good mixuter of air and petrol u will get sollution of problem . 1500 km run slowly as rebore engine.than u will get 45 kmpl.fiero is some difficult to come as correct setting instead hero honda. so try twice as my advice
