What is the average mileage of Ford Ikon Diesel version car. I mean how many KMs it run at an average without Engine Overhauling

Hi,
With ford Ikon diesel you can expect mileage of 15 to 18KMPL.The engine can be run for about 1 lac Km before overhauling of engine.

I have petrol version and july 2004 model. It has run about 80,000 kms and gives around 14 km per litre on highway. The engine seems to be in good condition and can not predict when engine over hauling is required.

Petrol Version will give milage 10-12 KM/Ltr in city and 12-14 KM/Ltr in highway.

Diesel Version will give milage 12-14 KM/Ltr in city and 14-18 KM/Ltr in highway.

Hi I had a Ford Ikon Petrol version for 6 years- ran 66000 KM's no issue at all at a city average of 10-11 KMPL and Highway approx 14 KMPL. Model 2001 October. Now I have moved to Optra Magnum Diesel

You can safely run the car for 100000 kms before it needs an overhaul. However, your driving habits will have a bearing on the longeivity of the engine

Hi,ford ikon gives milege about 14-16km/lt & it willrun 175000-250000 without overhauling.
