Hi I am planning to buy a new car. My budget is around 8 lakhs My monthly running is around 2500 km. should i go for diesel car or CNG car. i found value for money in Fiat Linea Diesel. The is not that effective in the car that i drove overall i like honda city. but its expensive . should i buy a petrol based car and put CNG in it or buy a diesel car or wait for sometime for SX4 CNG or any other car with pre fitted CNG looking forward for your response

sx4 is a great car, u shuld buy it and get cng fitted from maruti dealers only or if u can wait for 6 months then sx4 diesel may be the next launch from maruti. but this is not conformed yet. so i think u should go for sx4 wid cng fitted.

or u can try Dzire diesel too.

Honda city is a small car compared to the LINEA and is really no comparison to the FIAT. FIAT is a world leader in diesel technology and the 1.30 Variable Geometry Turbo Charged engine in the LINEA gives close to 90bhp power and 16+ km per litre - nothing else available in India can match that. Hi,
For the budget range and requirements Linea Diesel will make the optimum choice. Recommended not to go for CNG fittment with new car. Alternatively You can try with top end version of Swift Dzire.
