I have Chevy Aveo U-VA.Kilometers done only 8672.Purchased on 11.06.2007 I went to Gangtok(Sikkim)last week, from Patna(Bihar) by road.This is my first long drive with this car. I got a major problem regarding Milage. I got 11.4kms/Lt. What is the problem.Some times I got problem with speed,it's speed not exceed 120kms/hrs, whenever Santro-xing is very good in milage (16.8) and speed 130(+). Anand +91-9709555123

Hi,
The expected mileage of UV-A is from 10.5 to 15KMPL max.Considering that you had driven in Highway the mileage is quite less. There must be problem in fuel supply system like mixing of petrol with fuel pump.

HILLS WILL GENERATE LOW MILEAGE.

SECONDLY, GET YOUR FUEL INJECTORS CHECKED, EXHAUST, DE CARBONIZED. ALSO CHECK IF THE TYRE PRESSURE WAS CORRECT.

U HAVE NOT MENTIONED HOW MANY PEOPLE ACCOMPANIED U AND WHAT IS THE WEIGHT CARRIED. AS GM CARS ARE HEAVY, HEAVIER LOADS WOULD SURELY TAKE A TOLL ON THE MILEAGE.
