any of the two is harmfull for the health of the engine still i would suggest a lpg can work better on accent as the iggnitor chip of hundai is better as well as the power ratio on the 1st gear is quite less than a baleno . so i would suggest gop for accent with lpg u would be happy. and if can really afford the petrol plz do not convert it to either.

Baleno is low on service than the Hyundai accent. Hence CNG should ideally work better on baleno. But there is one big problem with baleno is the ground clerance. It has very low GC and hence with 4 people on board the car scrapes through speed breakers. SO with the CNG cylinder in the boot, the rear will always run heavy and you might scrape the car more often then before. Buy a diesel car instead.

Baleno has a heavier and more powerful engine and thus gives lesser mileage while Accent has a better one. At the same time Baleno's maintenence cost is lower in comparison to Accent.

I have just got a CNG kit installed in my Baleno car from Maruti Service Masters. At the moment I am not facing any problems and I have done around 2500 kms. Ofcourse there are liittle issues you have to compromise on such as pickup is effected to a minor extent and ofcource you have to bear the loss of 65% of boot space. Rest it costs Rs.1.25 paise per km with continous AC on and Rs.1/- with AC on ocassionally. In Delhi getting CNG is not a big problem.
