If You want to buy Tata's Car. Buy diesel.

I have owned a Tata Indogo Petrol GLX for about 5 years now. It has done close to 50000 k.m and still runs in perfect condition. Yes, maybe its not as refined as a maruti or Hyundai, but for the price I purchased, its worth every penny. Reason that I went for Petrol instead of Diesel, was because diesel engine needs maintainence, makes noise (more than a petrol) and has lesser shelf life than petrol engine. I still get 10-11 k.m per litre on city roads and approx 13+ on highways. The only change I did after 45K k.m were the tyres. I fitted Mclaren tyres now and the ride is even better. One big drawback, you might not get a good resale value b'cos most of people prefer diesel these days.

Hi,
I have got a Indigo LS 2003 model Diesel not only me but our whole Family and neighbours are going for it because I think for the price I bought it it"s really too good in terms of economy also maintainence wise I am using ma car as a motorcycle I am getting around 15-16 Km/L with a/c depends how you drive I think it"s the best deal to have maintanence free car for no price.long story short though ma car so old also I bought it second hand from Dr.Cars in excellent condition but never ever had any problem till now and It"s in an excellent condition. It"s done 60,000KM I am still modifiying it from the money it"s saving for me with nice Music system and alloy tyres.also recently have been on a long tour at 100-120km/h but wasn"t a single sound while driving really impressive It"s only for the price I purchased the car.
