i own a swift for last 3 years. The car is great not a single problem with the car. Its petrol and gives me comfortably 11 kms in city with AC on. You need to service the car strictly as per the company schedule and then its a dream. It gives 17 kms on the highway. If you do not have more than 30kms to 40 kms a day then buy petrol if running is more please buy diesel.

About ritz i cant say as i do not own one and its relatively small. The boot is much smaller than swift so if you plan to take car out of town often this point needs consideration.

Hi Senthil,
I recommend buying a SWIFT VDI(Diesel).Compare it with any other car in the segment n you would find it the most practical, economical and simply superb. The diesel engine clubbed with Swift's wheelbase and transmission gives it tht extra edge. It is very good for city as well as long drives. The Rits, though good is smaller in wheelbase and width. I strongly recommend Swift and if u can stretch ur budget SWIFT Diesel D-Zire.
