Hi,
Pulsar and FZ have beter coushining effect than Avenger. For long drives Pulsar 220 will be a beter option. Wwhile driving Bike the aerodynamic effect ie air resistence does matter hence positioning of rider should be so as to help for overcomming aor resistence.

I would have to disagree with Mr. Shiva Shankar on this. I have driven both types of bikes, and i have felt that it is unquestionably a cruiser which is comfortable on long drives. A cruiser, because of the upright seating position, is much more akin to your normal seating posture, and thus does not strain your back unlike a sports bike which requires a bent seating position.

I have drived Avenger 180 from Mumbai (Andheri) to Kerala (Thrissur) with site seeing in Goa, Magalore, Kerala reached on the 3rd day 5.30pm, only day driving. Sitting arrangement is very good one can sit in a front foot direction and for a change can keep the foot folded back on the centre foldable foot rest, this fosition gives more comfort as it keeps your body perfectly balanced making leggs totally free. i have noticed back pain when the roads are not good, the bucket seat is good but its not good enough to sit for a long hour eg. more than 2 hrz. it should be more softer.

It depends on how long distance you are talking. If 200 - 300 P220 is best. you will reach early also. But more than 300, you need a cruiser. Also another dependency is road quality, cruiser always demand mutter smooth roads.
