Hello,

Don't go for anything other than Honda............ it is undoubtly the best deal in your case. I recently bought a 2005 model and i am very happy. Look for some private buyers on this site only. Look for car buying tips. Take an experienced person along. If you have even 1% doubt do not go for the deal.

Honda is the no.1 choice.Second choice is esteem, ford and Opel don't even look at them in used car.they are only best when new. I don't know which city u r from, but in mumbai u get 98-99 honda city for less than 2 lacs. u will have to fund from u r own pocket coz finance is not available for such old cars , i've a 99 honda city and it is a fully imported car, so don't worry abt maintainence. value for money.

hope that helps

I would rather suggest you to buy a new GM SPARK Car, as it is a steal at a price of Rs. 2,98,000.00 on road inclusive if RTO and insurance. GM will provide you three years warranty on engine, shockers, and gear box as well as they are providing a scheme that gives you a free service for 45,000 kms or 3 yrs which ever comes first. Instead of buying an old car you can enjoy the luxury of new car. Spark comes with tubeless tyres, power steering and AC , and imagine you just have to pay only 2,98.000.00 inclusive of everything. So why waste 2.5 lakhs on an old car.
Hope you get your answer.

Getting a good old honda city is doubtful in 2 lak. You will get bargains but be ready to spend another 1 lak soon after you get possession.

Go for a brand new small car. There is so much to choose and you will have 3-4 years of no ownership hassles.

Dear Mr Devinathan,
It is a good idea to own a mid segment car at a low price. Out of your options only honda city is good . All others are white elephants.
