Tata Sierra is a very stable vehicle, however maintenance is the key for the vehicle, Tyres, suspention, Powersteering are prone to get spoiled soon. After 100K KMS based on how badly maintained, it needs a engine repairs. Regualr oilchange is must.

I use to spend atleast 3-4K in 4-5 months in a Tata local mechanic.

Great Driving comfort, I have driven almost South India, It flys, had never stopped anytime...I have to part with it as it was getting old and Time to spend on the same was less...I was getting an average of 12KMS in city and 15 on Highway

i have 1998 model modified version has been designed looks similar to imported sports version with hummer n pajero combenation., look similar to this with scorpio tale lamps safari dicor head lamps scoops with 4 lamps inside it spoiler dull black with glass finish colour similar to hummer n looks like monster., just revoling of complete engine has been done u can look n check it out if really intrested n some modified one.,

Sierra is a really good car, But its very difficult to get good condition car, Check throughly before purchasing otherwise you will end up with all expences on car. i had sierra, I had spent a lot on that i sold it when i was going abroad, Agian i am planning to purchase Sierra when i come back to Hyderabad, Its a passion to own Sierra for me.

If you can afford frequent maintenance you may want to own it. Otherwise stay away from it. Don't go for it just for the looks. Its a Truck to own and drive.

because it has such a huge bootspace,great ride quality & handing. But before buying it plz do check by an expert mechanic. Check it's engine deeply(compression),power & all the other each & every things that are neccessary.

TATA sierra is or rather was one of the best looking cars that has happened to the Indian car market ,but unfortunately people dint appreciate,but buying a Sierra now at this age would be the lousiest thing b,cos tata vehicles major problem is the suspension ,u need to employ a full time mechanic along with the car if u intend to buy a used sierra at this age.
