I want to buy a Fiat Linea active Diesel version.Is it a good choice and value for money preposition for me? What discount I can get if I book this car? I also want to know about automatic gear shifting. Is it fuel efficeint and safe?

the auto version is safe but the mileage will be less and also the resale value is extremely low for auto gear cars

If you want a full size sedan, its the best that you can get under 14lacs. I have a petrol linea, top end model. Have run about 1000km, all with AC on, the average mileage is 11.6km's this is in city driving in Bombay. So the mileage should be atlest a few km's higher for regular driving. The diesel may be a 16/18km range I expect. The car is a pleasure to drive and also be driven in. Go for it.
