Hi,With AC on mileage reduces by about 3KM perliter.The main thing with reduces mileage is the extra power utilised in compressor. It wont vary much with different speeds.

The query was about fuel consumption at different cooling settings and not speed (correct me if I am wrong). I also want to know whether the cooling settings have any effect on the fuel consumption and engine efficency.Eagerly awaiting your expert comments.

The mileage wont be much affected much with variation in speed and cooling settings. Though its effect on engine load cannot be ruled out, its effect will be negligible.Hence we can consider overall effect onmileage with AC than at different cooling positions.
Co. manual says you get best millage on low cool position
