Yeah! I also dont suggest you to convert your zen into power steering. Its advisable to change your car instead and buy the one which has power steering. Zen doesnt require power steering as manual steering is enough to rotate fast. It is advisable only in big cars as steering doesnt rotate due to heavy car weight. I used to turn steering with one hand and it was so smooth as if i was using power steering. Your zen is too old. Also not advisable to invest for all these things.

It is not a worthwhile investment taking into account the year of the car. If the car is doing good you might as well continue with the mech one. If the steering and wheels are well serviced and maintained it shud be a pleasure driving with the mech steering

Lxi- means it is already electronic steering.
Lx - means hydraulic steering.
Electronic power steering is better because when you are
driving in a speed of 70 KMS and above, the velosity will be less. Since your Zen is a light weight car, there will be good grip in the road and will get smooth turning.

The modification takes less than half-a-day. Have it done from a dealer's Authorized Service centre. No changes in Electrical/ECU required. The Rack & Pinion system is replaced completely, which comes as a single unit, plus the motor assist unit, which plugs-in to the wiring harness. If the money involved is OK with you, go for it. The option is totatlly yours,in a city like mumbai,having a power steering in a zen is of no great importance.but still if you want to,then there should'nt be any hassels but only get it done from a good source.

Practically it doesnt make sense to get a power steering done for a car which is already 9 years old.
Secondly there wudnt be much of a difference after installing it. Its already a small car.
Continue driving the way you do, if you need a powered steering then buy another car.

Hi, Mr habeb this totaly possible and successful. Its cost is very high. The electronic power steering cost is 58,786. I think for zen the electronic power steering is not required. But as your wish. Your zen condition is good and you like zen then you will invest this option.

Zen Power Steering Can be done at a Cost approx 10000/10 K INR in Pune and 7000 K in Mumbai Curla locations. If done properly no issues. I have done it for Zen LX 2002 Model
