I think A-Star is the best car-Good looks, one of the best engine and best mileage from any other car of this segment.
Its a cute little car.

go with Santro which will cost u same budget which u have mentioned above or else i10 which is also good car but will be 50k costly... this are the best car in market nowadays.

Though performance of i10 is slightly better than santro , recommended to go for santro as the overall performance including mileage, features are good for santro .
