Go For Hyundai Sonata GOLD. It's cheaper to maintain has a better fuel economy and got a killer looks. On head on test SE has bettered the Accords and space , interiors and overall feel of car is best in it's segment.

Hi. Mondeo is good car than Sonata. But maintenance cost of ford will be expensive than Hundai. If u can pay more for maintenance u can go for Ford Mondeo.

Plus points for Sonata Gold : Beautiful ride quality comparable to Merc or BMW, cruises well at high speeds therefore good for long drives, low maintenance, classic looks, good seating arrangement both front and back.

Negatives : Underpowered compared to Sonata S20 (should have been powered by a V6 engine for a car this size and weight) fuel consumption in city driving condition is low (max 5-6 kms per litrs and goes down if you have the AC on) Improves substantially on the highways but how often do you drive at high speeds? rear tyres skid in wet conditions if the turning radius is small at a speed of 40 kmps(should have had fat tyres for this car).

Ford Mondeo : Good ride quality, power is adequate, better handling than Sonata Gold, Road grip is good as well. However, spares are expensive, petrol consumption is high and maybe slightly worse than Sonata Gold, spares are not freely available in Tier II cities.

Go for Sonata Gold.

sonata has more height weight and length and can be easily converted to merc kompress by dc so in my opnion sonata ggold
