Hi!!!!!!!!! I own a santro car and till now i am using the fuel as petrol only, i have planned to switch over to LPG. Is that engine performance will be same as petrol or it will differ. Please tell me the advantages and disadvantages of using LPG

Hi,
With usage of LPG the fuel economy wil be slightly better than petrol in nitial stages.The maintenance costs increases after few months of usage with problems like starting problem etc and even rings problem. But with company fitted LPG like Wagon R DUO or Santro LPG the performance is better compared to that fitted to the existing car but not satisfactory. Hence considering life of engine, recommended not to fit LPG.
