Cars Q&A

I am deciding between buying a petrol or diesel car (sedan). Though, it is known that if usage is more than 80-100 kms daily, better to go for diesel due to higher price differential getting adjusted by usage. However, in my case I am able to get a diesel variant at a minimal higher cost than a petrol, around Rs 15000/- only. My usage is around 30 kms daily. Hence, since the costs are nearly same, should I go in for a diesel variant? Please advice. Regards, Nikhil

  • Expert Hi Nikhil. Opt only if it has been well maintained. But you can expect higher maintenance cost in long run with the diesel trim.
