Hi sir I am planning for a Volkswagen polo car but I came to listen that it is high maintenance costing and not good for Indian roads pl. help me.

    Yes you heard is partially correct. The thing is that conventional indian cars i.e. maruti and tata are comming with free service so intial 20000 kms there is no maintenance. except oil change, oil filter and its accessories and air filter and probably AC filer.

    Where as the volkswagen cars does not have such kind of philosophy. Its 1st service comes at 10000 kms. but cost you around roughly 9000 to 10000 Rs.

    Yes, Volkswagen cars are suitable for Indian roads no problem at all. Performance and safety wise this cars are good as they are German make and Germans never compromise with safety.

  • Expert Hi Mayur. VW cars come with sturdy build quality and hence you may buy it without worrying. The cost for spares are slightly higher but its indeed worth it as it last for a good amount of time.
