Cars Q&A

Question
I want to buy a 3/4 years old Tata India. Some body says that maintenance cost is too high for Tata Indica and problems is a recurring nature from the 2nd year. If so, what should be the remedy. Alternatively is there any other car which is run by either diesel or LPG but are trouble free for at least 5 years from it's first use. Also planning to buy new TATA NANO top model. Experts are saying that TATA NANO would face balancing problem due to it's engine at the back. Some are suggested to watch atleast for 6 months from it's launching and thereafter to take a decision. Also, I got a 5 years old Maruti Zen in good condition with a milage of 50000 KM run till date. Is running cost of Maruti Zen is too high ? For purchase of old cars what are the documents i have to verify before purchasing. What should be the legal procedure and documents to be processed to transfer the ownership in my name. Please advice. Tapas Kumar Nag. Kolkata.
