Cars Q&A

I am using YAMAHA Libero G5 106 cc bike, since 2006 January. Now I want to buy a "self start" model bike. Can be in any sect, 100 or 125 or 150 cc. I use maily for office use. Occassionally outing. Can you suggest a bike for me. Good milage, nice looks, trouble free running . That is what I look for. Any buyers for my bike may contact me too. How about Hero Honda Splender NXG 100 cc or Passion pro. How do you see Suzuki bikes?

  • Expert Hi,
For general usage with economical fuel consumption and price ,125 cc bike will be better.Yamaha Gladiator or Shine will be good choice.Splendor NXG and passion pro are available in kick start version . If fitted with electric start , will result in investment of 7k extra with that it comes around 50k only . Suzuki bikes are good but not of much success on road .

  • Expert Hi,
Yes in many of cars tip of bonnet are not visible .It will be difficult for the new user to gauge distance with frontal vehicles , there are many instances where frontal minor collision occur because of that. The solution is to give more concentration during new car usage and you will get used to guess the distance .New Maruti Alto is a good choice , it will be worth considering Chevrolet Spark or new A star as better alternative.
