Cars Q&A

Question
I have recently bought a used Indica V2 LSI 1405 cc Silver- June 2005 - approx. 20000 km run. No engine trouble or no other trouble . Paid Rs 1.6 L. Is the deal reasonable? I need the users manual for this vehicle as this was not available with the earlier buyer. Where can I get the same?

Answers:

Yes, good deal, no doubt. You should get a few years of good service from this car, without any major issues. Be sure to extend the life of your engine by doing the basics on time, like oil changes. Remember, city driving reduces the time interval between oil changes, because of how much work the engine has to do in urban driving. A copy of the user manual should be available through any Tata Indica showroom or outlet. If they give you the runabout, tell them you would like to get a photocopy of one, and I am sure they will be glad to lend you one! Even if it takes some time to get one, do not panic. There is no special requirement for this car that only the manual can inform you of. Enjoy your driving. Cheers!
