Cars Q&A

I have a pulsar150 cc. last week i removed the front wheel and then cleaned the brake disk pads. even though I am not a mechanic, I know how to do it and I have done it before.after that the brakes doesn't get applied properly. when I brake, I have to give extra effort , but I don't get the breaking action i used to get before, without this effort. what can be the reason. might be air got inside the system, or some spill of oil during the maintenance, which I suspect. so cleaned the disk wheel with paper and cotton and still the affect is same.
