For the travel that you do,a diesel option seems to be best.Anything above 30km/day,the best bet is a diesel.
I would also suggest that u dont just look at the swift diesel..there are many other options for the same budget..

My sugession is to go for petrol version. Diesel versions spares are allways expensive. You will be travelling 40 km dailymeans cost of fuel is negligible.

Better you go for a petrol version as the maintenance is easy and driving is soi comfortable in petrol vehicles.Diesel vehicle is advisable for those who travel more than 100 kms per day.Moreover petrol price is going to come down heavily.It may be eaual price.
