Cars Q&A

Question
Is there any news that i10 1.1 will be phased out on the introduction of i20 as there is 1.2 kappa engine version as well. I am planning to buy i10 Era. Is it right choice or I should go for the well established Santro. Money is no problem

Hi,

i10 will not be phased out for at least three years .its the starting of i series and bound to be under prodction for long. .i10 is a good choice considering all upgraded parameters.

hey....the i10 would not be phased out any time soon.....the new kappa engine is juss an automatic transmission engine.....its not been changed or advanced in any sort

As per Hyundai i10 both 1.1 and 1.2 will be made and 1.1 will be only made for India. So rest assured it will be available for long time.

Dear Mithilesh,
if money is not an issue than why do you not go for i10 1.2 kappa, this engine is fulfilling the norms of Euro-5.

Your Choice is right, hundai now offering year end offer As Rs.22,000/- in near terms they cut this officer and push the vechile cost up, if you can wait for 4-5 monts, Tata Nano will come and check the small segment car's price. This is fine time to buy i10-Era.
