  • Expert Hi,
First check original documents , later check for body scratches, dents, paint mismatch between two parts , tire condition etc.In interior check for cleanliness ie mats, dash board, sun visor, gear lever, upholstery, etc. Open the bonnet and check for oil leakage, coolant leakage marks ,Welding marks ,(If welding is done then factory seal will not be there and it indicated accident repair),etc .Take for test drive and observe for quick starting, acceleration, suspension noise, abnormal noise under the hood ,lights operation etc.

Please note accident repair doesn't mean that vehicle is in bad condition.Check for history of vehicle and check where repairs were done.If it is done in authorized dealership you can conclude that genuine parts are used.
