Cars Q&A

ford fusion is to be phased out due to poor sales. How's this going to affect availability of spares & service on the long run? I was planning to buy this car, but now I have second thoughts...Any advices?

Expert`s comment:

The disadvantage of Fusion is its overprice to what it offers. Spares availability will not be a problem as ford is well established in India and will supply spares .Alternatives like a Swift or i10 etc would be better

Ford fusion is a good car but somehow the premium hatch backs has not made its way into the indian customers mind on account of its steep pricing and a "hatch back tag"

Check out for Renault Logan. This is practical/spacious and a complete value for money car.

Also you can look out for the new ford ikon which has a diesel offering. This diesel engine is sourced from the tested and proved ford fiesta.

Its an OK Car, But dnt go for it coz it has no resale. With ford discontinuing it, further there will be no buyers. Offcourse spare parts availability will be a problem in a couple of years. Take example from GM's Opel Astra & Corsa. Now they are available at dirt cheap prices and spares are very costly.

Dont go for It
