From the past reviews and feedbacks i finally decided to go in for Tata indica vista quadrajet aura model. i booked the car from Tata car dealer Wasan motors borivali. With so much of electronic media publicity i decided the purchase the said car. With so much of excitement i booked the car on 10th September. The dealer said the car was expected by end of september. Every time i made a call after end of september i got an answer that none of indica vista cars had been dispatched for mumbai. The dealer suggested me to go in for a lower version aqua as it was available and they would deliver it in a week. I was bit confused here as at the time of booking they insisted on higher version. Aura versions were not even displayed for demo when booking started and suddenly after a month any color of aqua was available. The interiors of aqua are not that good and appears dull as compared to the aura version. I conveyed to dealer that i still wanted to go for the aqua version. Every time there after i called them for delivery dates they replied saying that it will take more 15 days. Even now they are saying it will take more 15 days for car delivery as they have not received it. This time the dealer was also frustrated with Tata motors as the delivery dates were also not confirmed by them. They finally told me that they will return my booking amount of 51K if they failed to deliver it by diwali. With so much of wait i am very disappointed with such answers as my money as well as time got wasted in these. i would have not regretted if i have gone in for Swift but the maruti dealers are very clear on delivery as they clearly stated the swift dispatch will take 2 months. If Tata dealer have given such statements earlier than also it was ok for me but after extending dates every time sets a bad example. For this I have also planned earlier to sell my old car in par with delivery dates conveyed to me. now after this diwali i will not have any of my cars. Please suggest me the way forward, or do i still wait for the most awaited car. i smell some thing in this. Is there some technical problems with this car?

Its quite wrong on part of dealer in not giving proper information.Till now there are no reports of technical problems. This might be because of overbooking.

You can try with other dealers who have more stock with better customer service.If they also fail then choose other make without compromising on quality Suggested not to sell before confirmation of buying new car.
