Cars Q&A

what is a better option for a car that will run for max.5000 km per year/1.diesel,2.petrol or 3.petrol & cng combine? I heard that cng engines require more maintenance(like once in six months) and not so great to drive, hence cost advantage is nullified.and in case of diesel the extra cost of the car is not retrieved if it does not run for more than 15k kmpa and mntc.cost is more. Moreover, some people r still skeptical about the safety of a cng/lpg car.considering all this and my requirement of a haslefree, reliable and a car that requires minimum mntc. what is my best option? pl.advise.tks.-akguha

it is better to go for petrol car than diesel or combined.
becasue petrol cars are low on maintenance, since your driving is very less the diesel and combined will cost less in your driving but their maintenece is so high that you will pay more than you save.

now cng/lpg kits are authorised and safe but one has to compromise in power like petrol engine delievrs.

As mentioned by Mantra, CNG versions is indeed safe but has to be compromised with repect to pick up and maintenance.
