Cars Q&A

Hi all, I am planning to buy a car in the price segment between 3.5 to 4.5 Lakhs. I find the options as Ford Figo, Tata Vista and I10. In a really confused state to make the decision in choosing among these three. My preference is to go for a petrol car, so that I can switch to Gas later for saving on my mileage. My daily usage would not exceed 20 KM and long trips may be upto 300 KM once in one or two months. I would like to know on the best deals and offers that are available for various brands now in the market, maintenance free and value for money vehicle which will be a definite wise choice to make. I also welcome for any other suggestions on other cars from different manfucturers that would make a better choice.

Among the options mentioned, Indica Vista would be the ideal selction for mileage, comfort and build quality. Alternatively recommended to test drive Chevrolet Beat.

ravi, you can also consider the maruti ritz available in both petrol and super economical diesel option. and being backed by maruti should be excellent ownership experience.
Amongst your choices look to hyundai since the products are quite reliable and have been very popular hence easy spare and maintenance availability.

Tata Vista is aproduct that offers great fuel economy, and great fuel economy. Apart from these two nothing else to look into it....styling, finish, refinement, nope just the usual by standers waving to stop you (if you ever buy it in white) the car has some known issues with niggling noises, cheap plastic interiors, service centres are overloaded and few. You may as well consider teh chevrolet beat since they offer to take care of it for teh next 3 years (which is worth it)
